On a cold morning on the side of a mountain at Purgatory Resort, a small group of young adults began their day suspended in midair, participating in what is commonly known as highlining at the Paradise Highline Gathering from Oct.18-20.  

The 31st Annual Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering kicked off October 3, with the 12th Annual Cowboy Theatre— a western variety show with a twist.

The Fort Lewis College Native American Center has organized numerous events for Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2019 intended to celebrate different cultural perspectives and raise awareness for the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women movement.
