Fort Lewis College President Tom Stritikus formed a search committee to find a new provost to replace Interim Provost Jesse Peters in late November 2018.

With the Durango area receiving more snow than in recent years past, piles of plowed snow have begun to form around parking lots and roads of Fort Lewis College. Displaced snow can cause safety hazards to drivers and pedestrians.

Erica Cudkowicz, a freshman living in the Bader/Snyder complex, arrived on campus for the first day of orientation in the fall of 2018, excited to start her undergraduate education at Fort Lewis College.

Effective Jan. 1 2019 smoking will be banned on state campuses due to an executive order signed by Gov. John Hickenlooper on Nov. 2.

From there, officers inform Physical Plant Services know that the front hill is closed and will request that they use their snow removal equipment, like their snow plow, where necessary.
